EGR Specialized Transport operates as a freight brokerage that arranges transportation services through licensed motor carriers. We do not physically transport goods unless explicitly stated in writing.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how shipments are arranged, scheduled, and delivered.

Transportation Services

All transportation services are performed by independent, properly licensed and insured motor carriers. EGR Specialized Transport acts solely as a broker coordinating logistics between shippers and carriers.

Shipment availability, transit times, and pricing are subject to carrier availability, weather conditions, regulatory requirements, permits, and operational factors.

Pickup & Delivery Scheduling

Pickup and delivery dates are estimates only unless confirmed in writing. Delays may occur due to:

Weather conditions

Traffic or road restrictions

Mechanical issues

Permit requirements

Loading or unloading delays

EGR Specialized Transport is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside of our control.

Freight Accuracy & Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipment information including:

Weight

Dimensions

Commodity description

Pickup and delivery locations

Special handling requirements

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in additional charges, delays, or shipment refusal.

Accessorial Charges

Additional charges may apply for services including but not limited to:

Detention or layover

Tarping

Escorts and permits

Liftgate or special equipment

Inside delivery

Redelivery attempts

Storage or demurrage

All accessorial charges will be communicated before.

Cargo Claims & Liability

Cargo liability is governed by the carrier’s insurance and applicable transportation laws. Claims for loss or damage must be reported promptly upon delivery and documented according to carrier requirements.

EGR Specialized Transport is not responsible for physical loss or damage to freight but will assist in coordinating claims with the carrier.

Cancellations & Changes

Shipment cancellations or changes may result in cancellation fees, truck order not used (TONU) charges, or other carrier-imposed fees depending on timing and circumstances.
